Really depends on the WU's you are getting. The 8057's gave us 70-80K per day. A 7623 today gives 33K for a gtx580. A 8072 on a gtx 560 ti gives about 17K /day. Really depends, but my best guess is 20-35 K PPD on a gtx 580. Anyone else want to chime in?

8072 on a 660Ti is 25K. 8072 on a 670 is 27K. Those WUs are the new breed of 511s....

8072 0n a gtx 580 clocked back is 26,200 PPD
8072 on a gtx 560 ti (0, 1328, 10) is 16,700 PPD

The average I'm seeing is 33-36 kppd per 580....depends on unit of course.

Here is a sampling I started to see PPD for various WU's I was receiving. It was before I started the beta testing with 8057's. Although not a contiguous sampling it gives one an idea of what to expect.
Hopefully gives a snapshot of GPU/SMP variance.

My 2 680's seem to be receiving these tiny 8074 projects. Quick to finish @ about 2.5 hours but in return I lost 30k in my PPD

Nah they are too loud to run 24/7 atm since the machine lives in my sleeping room. I usually let them run about 10-14 hours depending on when I get up. I do plan on water cooling the GPU's and CPU in about 2 months. The CPU block and res are already on order .

When the 680's are running I started off getting mostly IIRC project 7426's which give me about 14.03k points per 7 hour WC and I usually get 2-3 done per day for about 28- 40k per day for the 2 GPU's on client 7.2.9. Haven't seen one of those project 7426's in about 3 days now. I've been thinking about trying out a different client but I'm hesitant to add or change anything unless I'm sure it will make a noticeable improvement in my PPD with the these cards.

PS. I do run the cards in SLI btw since this is my only machine, so its also my gaming machine (till I get around to building a dedicated folding box that is.)

Thanks... Tossing around the idea of picking up a couple 580's... maybe take a run for 3rd or 4th spot in the PPD/avg race... Haven't been that high up in a very long time...


I wouldn't get too cosy up there
