Hey now! F@H should be done with totally stable computers so we dont taint the WU's!

Not only is it a "good cause" like they say, but how many of us have prepped a system that is 24hrs LinX stable only to see it fail to complete a WU? There's something about FAH - and I really don't know what - that makes it a most demanding system stability benchmark. It doesn't kick up the most heat, and it doesn't stress the system memory, cache or any buses to a significant degree. Yet, the simulation is just soooooooo sensitive to even the most seemingly innocuous miscalculation that the slightest instability will be revealed in a manner that no other burn-in program is capable of. LinX comes close, much closer that Prime95 ever did. But FAH remains the final say.

They probably set a goal to fold 1 billion points ... probably surprised themselves at how fast they got there.
