Sure , but thats Big Iron there.....could be 500 boxes..Not really the same league..I'm trying to find out more about what they run....

The 690 clients is probably 690 fast 2p servers doing basic SMP. Dual 3.2ghz hex intel or maybe maybe two high clocked 12 core AMD chips.

4 weeks and HardwareCanucks will be passed up by HPCS!. Legit Reviews will be passed up in less than a day! I think it's great for F@H, not great for people or teams that fold @ home! I don't know if I'm happy or sad. All I can say is HPCS

That reminds of the monsterously huge poutine I had in Edmonton yesterday. Man I was seriously hurting afterwards.

I think HP is doing a good thing here.

'Cloud service' implies large amounts of "on call" hardware.One of our fellow folders is Hewlett Packard IT ...Kudos .Might as well use the hardware.
