Hi all,

I forgot to mention the PPD dropped about 15k to 20k a day.
It went from 75k to 80k a day, to 60k.
A few hundred I would not worry about, but that is WAY too much to tolerate.
Will go back to previous client and see if the PPD goes back up.

Take care.........

It might just be the work units you've been getting or some setting in the configuration... I've been using the newer version on all my Fermi cards and the PPD hasn't changed... Did you have the Core priority set to slightly higher and the "do Not lock to specific cpu" checked? Not sure if these settings make that much of a difference but that's what I use (I'm also running smp on the cpu's)

Hi bt,

There have been no changes to any settings from the old to the new clients.

I am not sure what is happening.

You are not getting any different PPD wth the new, and I am getting significant differences.

It is a possibility anyway.

Will wait a few more days, then change back, see if there is a difference.

Take care........

I didn't even know of different versions I just load it up and go. I notice that sometimes my readings are low but if I reboot fah via web browser and wait it has always went back up.

Hi bud,

Installed 6.41 two weeks ago, and has not gone back up yet.

I will replace with older version for a while, or at least until I have no other choice but to upgrade client.

Take care...........

Might want to try FAH gpu tracker. Sets up pretty much everything for you, and it's been what i used in last year or so. No problem, apart of priority managing (cpu idle and gpus below normal). Since i found those settings, everything is optimal ppd wise. No variation (except for the 9xx vs 5187 wu ppd difference) in ppd in one year. Pretty stable if you ask me!
