Default CPU folds faster than GPU or vice-versa?
does a xeon or c2q (say even OCed up to 3.5 ghz) fold faster than a 8800gtx or 8800 ultra? How do those ati cards that can be quad-slied perform in folding?

I found dual core folding produced better PPD than my 1950pro, and the stress on the GPU is ridiculous!!!!

My GPU was running 100% 24/7 with temps I wasn't comfortable with.

There aren't any F@H clients for Nvidia GPU's so the short answer is no, the 8800's can't fold at all. But if there was a client, the GTX or Ultra would win hands down. Also there aren't any clients for the 38xx series (1xxx only. They're working on making it for newer ATI cards.) So right now you can't fold with quad-Crossfire and I don't know what the performance would be like if you could.

what is ETA till nvidia folding clients? how about for quad-crossfire
