It's great isn't it? I've had a few of those, depending on the WU and the hour start. Quite a surprise when you check out your stats and find 10 000+ ppd...

I've fixed my network issue on the laptop and now back online, folding again after a 5 month hiatus. As per usual, don't expect a 65-watt business notebook to be pumping some major numbers

Ah, don't worry. It should be safe to run all-day. After all, the same fan is also responsible for cooling the GeForce, too

hehe, that's what I taught too while I was folding with my Inspiron 6400. Then it just died. Board and HDD were replaced under warranty...

Hi all,
Just to let you guys know that I won't be folding anymore as I can't afford the electricty costs of running my network 24/7 any more. It was great while it lasted.

I am now folding using BOINC on Rosetta@Home. I realize that my contribution was lacking due to my inexorable difficulties with Vista and only recently began posting some points after switching back to XP but this VMWare thing and Ubuntu terminal crap piss me off. The BOINC software is stupid proof so thats where I'll be from now on

Got my testbed pretty well folding fit......

2 cores dedicated to GPU client with a standard client taking up the slack, 2 cores dedicated to rosetta.

Probably still a little bit of tweaking to be done to the memory for max output, but it's stable for now and I don't have the time to mess with it.
