ACK the GUI lag from this WU is unbearable to the point where I must stop folding to send e-mails!
Setting the "Aero" theme helps for some reason - one would think that Vista Basic would lag less but isn't the case.

Did anyone get the environment variable FAH_GPU_IDLE to work on this WU?

Hmm not 100% sure but I was using 276 or something like that (from june I think) and just updated to the 280 and therefore ran these WUs on both drivers and didn't notice much difference.

Either way, I'm not running these unless I have more incentive to as they really have a negative impact on trying to use my computer.

Aero does speed it up for some reason. Who knows why.

FAH_GPU_IDLE environment variable does not work for Core 15. Lowering the CPU usage when configuring the client does not have an effect on GPU usage either. This means I gotta stock GPU folding when trying to watch dramas or YouTube or Justin.tv.

I still haven't got one of them, my GTX 460 is staying only on projects 6800 to 6804. driver is 260.99

I got one of these last night (first time I folded a GPU WU in ages...just figured I would throw one on). The heat was a good 10c higher. On water, so the temps stayed around 60c, and got a good 20k ppd on the unit.

ok, i got one, the GTX460 is staying at 68 degrees, i got some AC and default fan profile from evga precision. The TPF is like 7'20" and credit is like 5187 but the preferred deadline is 12 days so I am adding as a rule in gpu tracker for this project number the GPU to run only at 80%.
