Hi Lee,

Had a similar problem, ended up having to back off on my OC for my GPU's... maybe pulling too much power from the board? Don't know, but it worked and I could keep my OC on the CPU. May not be an issue unless one is loaded up on GPU's (Have 3 on the board).

Bests,
Prok

Hi bud,

Can't believe you wasted your first post on me, I'm flattered.

Glad to see you made it here.
This place is always hopping and there is not a better bunch of guys and gals on any board.

Once I changed my multiplier from 24X to 20X and raised my FSB to 185, and CPU voltage to 1.385, it is running rock solid at 3700 MHz.
The stock is 3.07 GHz.

My new mobo will be here on Friday, then the fun begins.

The new mobo is an Asus P6T Deluxe V2.
That is what I had before it died and I had to change to an Asus Sabertooth x58 mobo.

Going to be a fun weekend.

Take care, and glad to see you here!!.............

Not a waste at all!

Yeah I've been hanging around the board for awhile. You Canucks seem like a fantastic team! If teampicard is truly belly-up, then I would seriously consider folding for HC, if they'd have me. Don't know if I qualify as a Canuck, though I was born in Juneau, kind of Canadian I suppose by proxy...

Good luck with the new MB, it is a bit like Christmas, eh? (Sorry couldn't resist)

Hi again,

I must be a Washington State Canuck?
How's bout a southern British Columbia citizen?

The team took me in, so there is no reason you can't come in too?

Take care........

We welcome everyone, regardless of whether their mum had them on Canadian soil. You don't have to be Canadian to be a Canuck, but it helps.

My goodness no worries dude! We have been welcoming folders from everywhere! Lee is an honourary Canuck now!!

Cancer does not care what country you are from, so we must not worry about such things either.

Welcome to the team!

Thumbs down

Hi all,

Well, got my new mobo today.

Installed it and it ran for approximately 3 minutes and it died too.

I am seriously considering not buying anymore Asus mobos.
They sure seem to be loosing their quality.

I put my Sabertooth X58 back in and it runs fine, so it is for sure not my hardware.

Color me angry!!

RMA again!!

Take care...........

That really blows!

I wonder if they just play round-robin with RMA boards and pass them on to the next in line...
Have a few ASUS MBs myself, sure hope they don't bite the dust soon!
What's the plan besides RMA? Can you just get your money back and go for a different board or is RMA your only option. For a couple of extra Franklins, you could get the SR-2...

Hi bud,

That is a dual CPU mobo.
24 threads...............whoa.
600.00 a pop for 6 core CPUs, plus 600.00 for the board.
Who ya think I am, a rich person?

By the way, CONGRATS on the folding. Movin' right along.

RMA is only option for now, but will threaten a little, maybe that will help.

Take care..........
