Probably because FAH has been around longer and is better established which makes it more of a quantifiable benchmark for hardware geeks.... :)

I also avoided boinc as my impression was that it "spread the wealth around".

I will however have a look at rosetta to see what it looks like as I'm always interested in seeing what's going on.
