Thanks guys, it is going to take me a bit to sort through all this stuff. I have a TPF approx 26-27 mins so far. Still have to find if my rig retained its overclock and get HFM or something like it installed.

While 12 cores would technically qualify the machine for bigbeta wu's, you would have to play with the RAM allocation to bring it under 2800MB to keep from receiving those units - it would not even come close to meeting the deadlines for those units.

Just realized that I am posting all over the place. I will try to keep it in the appropriate thread from now on.

Finished my first bigbeta, now I am stuck at-no can send/recieve/no other work to do. Is there a way to force a send?

*edit* looks like I may not have Langouste configured properly, as soon as I changed the proxy setting back to "no" it started sending.

*edit edit* Not sure but I may have lost my first bigbeta....

I don't trust Langouste. For some it works perfectly, for others - like me - it's a pain in the you-know-where. I don't use it.

Eh... Welcome in the folding with Linux World! Also:

Quote:
[14:52:15] Deleting incompletely fetched item (4) from queue position #2
This means an improper download of a new WU. And this:
Quote:
[14:52:15] + Attempting to send results [November 5 14:52:15 UTC]
means it is uploading. You should find another message after that one telling the upload was successful. But as MARSTG pointed out, your points total show that.
