That was a quick beta test to confirm stability... still only under Linux Client though.

Holy hell... well I had the first casualty of bigbeta. My 980x box folded for 3 days, and was due to upload yesterday afternoon.
When I got home, it was frozen or whatever at the end of the workunit:

It sat there for 2h before I Cntrl-C'd it. I've had to do this a few times with the linuxrouter image.. never had any problems. Last night, when I restarted my client it start folding the same workunit at 0%.

At that time I turned the 980x box off.

The same thing happened with my SR2 the other day - when it reached 100% it just sat there, I had to restart the client for it to send/receive the next workunit.

Not impressed, would have been a 700k points day yesterday.

That's weird - the Core was still running.

That's why they are called "beta". The instability was previously mentioned.

Hourly backups. Especially with units this size and an A5 core with a high rate of corruption on Ctrl^C. So yeah, hourly backups.

No backups; no sympathy!

Aaah! adjustment!

The bigbeta's have been adjusted for points. My last one was supposidly 430k points according to HFM, however I got credit for 312k.

The good times have come to an end! er well.. it's still awesome points.. just a little more reasonable now. I wish I had my additonal SR2s for the past two weeks though. :(
