Default ChipPowerUp Advancement Stats

So I did some math on the TPU advance (TP makes me think of toilet paper...)
As of the 10am/"10:30" update (PST)

ChimPowerUp
Avg CP increase over last 12 hours: 0.8341667 CP's
Avg CP increase over last 24 hours: 0.6920833 CP's

The Proud and Noble Beaver:
Avg CP increase over last 12 hours: 0.580833 CP's
Avc CP increase over last 24 hours: 0.565417 CP's

Based on the 24 hour average, CPU is advancing on us by an average of 0.13 CP's per update
Based on the 12 hour average, CPU is advancing on us by an average of 0.25 CP's per update

At these rates, and with our current Chimp Points Spread:
Based on the 24 hour average, CPU will pass us in 87.24 updates (3 days, 16 hours)
Based on the 12 hour average, CPU will pass us in 43.62 updates (1 day, 20 hours) <-- This is 6 hours before the finish line!
For reference, I believe there are 50 updates left in the CC (2 days, 2 hours)

Thanks for the math DTS. Mind posting it on NCIX as well?

Assuming they are going to pass us in 1 day and 20 hours. How much more PPD are we going to need to stay in this?

Good question... How many Stanford points = 1 CP for HWC? I can add that to my calculations.

Not yet. But Doug's math suggests that TPU will catch us before the end of the contest.
