Answered 10 cores for my situation:

2X 2600K = 8 cores
1X GTX460= 1 core
1X GTS450- 1 core

My System Specs

Default

17 physical cores for me.....

1090t = 6
i3 530 = 2 (+ 2V)
Q6600 = 4
GTX450 X 3 = 3
560ti = 1
GTX275 = 1

No bigadv for me because of the 8 core requirements. (even though the 1090t should have no problems).

2 x Xeon X5677 @ 4.2Ghz = 8 cores + 8 threads
2 x Xeon E5645 @ 2.5Ghz = 12 cores + 12 threads
2 x Q6600 @ 3.0Ghz = 8 cores (one offline until May)
1 x i7 860 @ 3.7Ghz = 4 cores + 4 threads
1 x i7 875k @ 3.9Ghz = 4 cores + 4 threads (offline until fall)
1 x QX9650 @ 4.0Ghz = 4 cores (offline until May)
1 x Phenom 9850 @ 2.8Ghz = 4 cores
1 x Phenom 9750 @ 2.7Ghz = 4 cores (offline until fall)

18 x various GPU's = 18 cores (9 offline until fall)

Total = 98 cores + 28 threads
Current = 73 cores + 24 threads
