Folding with a GTX560

Been so long since I have GPU folded... To those using a GTX560, what are your stable shader clocks at stock volts? My particular sample is at 1856 MHz at the moment (Core is at 928 MHz), and looks stable through 5 WUs.

This is the 560 I'm using: NCIX.com - Buy PNY GeForce GTX 560 Ti XLR8 Black Box 822MHZ 1GB GDDR5 Dual DVI Mini-HDMI DX11 PCI-E Video Card - PNY Technologies Inc - VCGGTX560TXPB - in Canada. Temps are dead stable at 59C, with 60% fan speed.

1025 folding stable, but then again I'm throwing a fair amount of extra core voltage towards it. Temps max out at 65c, but that's an internal install with 100% fan.

Definitely yes on the -advmethods (sometimes hit over 20K PPD), but I'm not so sure about the forceasm.... what's it supposed to do?

Strangely enough, 1025 has been 24/7 folding stable since I got the card, but I've got to drop it down below 1K to play Civ IV.... go figure.

I'm trying to stay with stock volts. I'll increase on step at a time then.

20k ppd? Which WUs? Because this card only folded P6801s since yesterday (when I started), and average is 14k ppd.

I can't get to the Fah-wiki right now but IIRC -forceasm is an old CPU client flag, the SMP client ignores it.

It should do nothing for a GPU client.

Man I've got to start playing Civ again, it's only been 3 years....

20k is probably on those super-fast units (p109xx and p112xx) that still pop-up every now and then, all they care about is Speed...

I have 4 GTX 560 running in 1 box. The cards do get a little toasty, but the still overclock well. They have been running 24/7 for 2 weeks. BTW...they are MSi twin Frozr 880 factory cores. Fans at 90%. Don't laugh at the case...it's the only thing I had left. And...no I can't get anymore fans on them....there is also 1 duct taped to the back sucking air out.

Yikes...I just looked at the post and saw the temps. The white fan inside the case had come unplugged. The max temp is now 73c.

You could probably get away with a few less fans if you actually did some cable management. Or cut the case up and used it as a work bench.

Thanks all, I've bumped the shaders to 1900 MHz, still stock volts. I may raise the voltage, but I'll stop once the GPU reaches 65C, 65% fan speed.
