Just a heads up to those whom aren't aware, it seems with EVGA Precision you can unlink the core and the shader frequencies so they aren't directly tied to each other. I'm not sure however stable it is as i do not fold lately, thought it would be something to let people know and report back.

Increasing the Shader slider will increase the Core speed too - even if that link is unchecked.

I tried it and it worked. I can unlink the core from the shaders with evga precision. I did it yesterday on both my EVGA 560SC and my PNY 275. I downloaded the latest version 2.0.2 released in January when I installed my ssd last week. I've been told that increasing the shaders gives you a little more folding/crunching power.
