Default GPU failures while F@H.

I've been running my GPU pretty hard lately and I've noticed that I have a fair amount of failed projects.

Right now I have 10 completed and 6 failed on each of them (Two EVGA GTX 280 SSC). Could this possibly be a driver issue? I'm currently running 260.99 Nvidia drivers. Any help would be great since right now I'm just losing PPD's because of it.

What temps are the cards running at? Have you upped the fan speed? Stock clocks or are the cards overclocked?

I have upped the fan speed. It's at 85% right now with both GPU's hovering around 70C.

70 degrees is fine... If they are overclocked try lowering the clocks down to stock and see if that helps. Also try running Furmark on the cards to see there is any artifacting...Could be a driver issue... You could try using a different driver... I use "ancient" drivers on all my pre - Fermi cards (191.07) as these have always worked flawlessly for me...

I'll try a different driver and see if it makes any difference.

Check to see that your clocks are stable. I find that even if they pass Furmark, it may not be stable when it comes to Folding.

I haven't OC'd the cards at all. Currently they're sitting at the following:

Core: 648
Shader: 1404
Mem: 1161

I noticed they have new drivers out (266.58) so I'll give those a go and see if it makes a difference. If not I'll start reducing the core and memory clocks on the cards.

I've been using Prevision to monitor my GPU's actually.

I lowered the cards to the following:
Core: 600
Shader: 1350
Mem: 1110

I'll see how that does. Thanks everyone for the help and advice everyone.
