What issue are you having with the linux client and what client are you trying to get up and running?

I don't know much about Ubuntu, but can you tell us more? Like which Ubuntu version you're using, 32 / 64bit, which Window version you're using and which CPU you want to use.

'cause you can have incompatibilities between Win 32bit, Ubuntu 64bit and the FAH version.

sswilson just did a FAH installation on a Linux rig. He'll be able to help more that I. This may help you also: Running the FAH client on Linux - FaHWiki.

Unfortunately I'm running the SMP beta client.

I didn't have any problems installing it under the latest Ubuntu, and there doesn't appear to be much help for this particular error on the `net.

Did you install the 32bit libraries?
