That definitely isn't a bigadv unit. If you enabled bigadv in the web setup then hopefully you just got a lame WU.

Got this from the log... /fah6
Arguments: -bigadv -advmethods -verbosity 9 -smp 8
And I copied and pasted the Key, so that should be right.

Don't use advmethods. That could be the problem.

Vmplayer...if the PPD don't change much I'll try the pure penguin route. I'll need beer for that I expect.

Edit: as for the tooth fairy...I changed the advmethods flag. But forgot to restart the the linux loding image. I woke up at 6:00 am and went... went downstairs and restarted it. next unit was bigadv....hangs head in shame.

Did you try the Musky Mix install for Folding [H]ard|Forum - View Single Post - Linux versus Windows - bigadv folding results

Except for one or two minor PEBKAC issues I found it quite easy to follow and I have never even looked at Linux before.

Figures the first -bigadv I get is a p2684...

I had to erase my VM then recreate it earlier today, since my network adapter disappeared. I haven't got a single bigadv WU since.
