Man knocking off a bigadv in less than a day is a rather great feeling. And being able to game for a few hours and not having to worry about not being able to make the WU deadline is also rather swell.

matsta31, don't suppose were able to get those CPU-Z screenies?

I was actually getting something of a similar problem earlier. My screen would go black for a couple seconds then I'd get an error the my Nvidia driver(260.99) kernel stopped working. Perhaps this problem is related. I'll try the fix anyways.

You use an SR-2?

And was the problem happening w/ every application or just a few? Most DirectX applications do not have this kind of problems. Generally only DX9 and older.

I'm not, however it could be related. Never hurts to give it a try. I haven't had the kernel crash yet today. Hopefully it stays that way.

Then this likely won't due anything for you. All this does it limit the amount of logical cores seen by directx applications to 16.

Well I somehow lost 115k points today. I set my WU to -oneunit. It ended 6 hours ago but still nothing has shown up.

Keep an eye on the next update or two. If it does not show up take a look at your queue and let me know the project, run, etc. Sometimes there are hiccups and chances are if there was, there are posts about it in the folding forums.

I'm having problems too... completed my first -bigadv today but for some reason the client is unable to send the results...checked the log file and the results have not been sent. I appears that it can't connect to the server... I checked the server it's trying to connect to and it's online... The client downloaded another core no problem... I tried using the -send all flag and opening and closing the client but this crashes the client and causes me to lose my internet connection... I then need to reboot to get back online... Any idea's?

Check your log for the server its trying to get sent to, and check this link to see if the server is down:

Well it looks like it was finally transmitted (hopefully) although 6 hours late. I assume that is going to be a huge drop in the points it hands out.
