What is the turn around for eVGA RMA's generally? I would really like to have my PC running again sometime soon.

Best to talk to John. I believe he called them up and talked to them first, and they pritty much cross shipped him his board.

Maybe two weeks + shipping if they wont?

I feel for you Lowfat, with the issues you've been having. Try to stay positive! It is bleeding edge tech, and if it get to you that much, I'll gladly swap you my 970 rig?

Damn, seems like a fairly high RMA rate with this board. I was hoping to get one after New Years. In a worst case scenario I could be down for up to 2 months if the board shites itself & my work schedule is full.

I can say that 3.0 and Lowfat are among the most knowledgeable folks on these Boards and if the SR-2 gives them grief, then I have no idea what an OC noob like myself would do to get them OCed (or in some cases like this, running....)

My predicament exactly. To get the SR-2 going I will be pulling components which will put my I7 rigs down. Until I get the SR-2 going there will be no ppd! (which is my reason for owning computers....)

Decisions, decisions..............

I was thinking about getting one too after Christmas... but with all the problems people have had I'm thinking twice about it... I like things to "work" properly as I have a tendency to smash things if they don't . Simply don't have the patience anymore in my advancing years...Hopefully a new revision of the board will be out by then or someone else will get on the dual cpu bandwagon... *c'mon Asus... you can do it!*
