That's pretty much what I figured for pricing... where did you guys get your boards from? I see the egg has them for $584.99. If if went ahead I'd try price matching from Ncix. I'd probably get everything else there anyways and save on shipping... that is my folding team after all

CAD? Hope you don't get taxed!

EDIT: Alright, Nina 2.0 is now up and running. Currently some stress tests, need a couple of 6-PIN extension cables so I can tuck most of them at the back. This thing is huge! I should be able to do optimization tonight and if everything goes as planned, I should be able to start folding as well.

Though I would never be able to afford it, that is just Awesome Xeven :)

Let us know the numbers once you have her running.

Nice, these coolers are huge. Wow ,they even shrink the board. Tight fit to. I guess I'll have to post a picture of my : ''no cases sitting on a carboard box rig'' once I get home. Once you do get her stable, post some Bios shots. I want to see what you did with it.

Eidt : I'll suppose you'll get two of them ? Can you say 240 000 PPD ?

Edit 2 : I cant see well on the picture, but are you taliking about the 6 pins for the CPU ? You dont really need them, for the level of overclock you'll get on air. 8 pins for each cpu is enough. Also, if you stay with 1 GPU, you dont need the extra 6 pins near the PCI-E slots. Hummmm, looking closely tio the pic, is your gu in the 4th slot ? Then you might need the 6 pin for the pci-e. not sure tough.

Thanks ST. I'll post the numbers once I get her running nice and cool.

@matsta31

I'll put another in there in slot #5 so I need the power connector.

Looking good guys Was wondering... are there issues mounting the backplates for cpu coolers (air or water) on this board? Or can use use whatever you like?

There are 2 backplates per CPU available; the Xeon backplate comes pre-installed, and a LGA1366 backplate can be installed in lieu of the Xeon backplate.
