Not many E5645s put there, but here's a L5640 that hit 200.

thats it, thanks. so its more of a board limitation than the chip itself, right?

Well, more a bit of both... I might be able to hit 200bclk with a L5640 with little issue, but have major issues with hitting 200bclk with X5650's

In anycase the sweetspot for me is 187bclk, I go much higher and I need to start pumping the volts in. That’s only with my CPU's though; others seem to get to 200bclk with L5640s without TOO much difficulty.

Looks like I'll be scoring a pair of E5649 ES CPUs to use. The slightly higher multiplier should make a rather nice improvement.

I think I might replace Nina and Pinta's 920 with these -> INTEL XEON 6 CORE PROCESSOR L5639 2.13GHZ SLBZJ - eBay (item 220696046227 end time Nov-22-10 15:35:04 PST). I'm not up for an SR-2... yet.

A guy at H seems to be running it at 200x18 no problems with an SR-2, should go higher on a single board methinks.

That doesn't make sense. It should have a multiplier of 16. Unless Turbo Boost is different w/ the 'L' CPU's. The E5649's that I have ordered have a multiplier of 19. Turbo Boost doesn't give a 1x higher multiplier to all cores like it does w/ Bloomfield unfortunately.
