What is a Guarded Run?

I did a Google search for 'Guarded Runs', but usually a problem completing a WU.

However, this one completed normal AFAIK. First time I've noticed the 'Guarded Run' but I've only been GPU folding for a short while. So far, all WUs have completed.

Don't recall seeing the term on CPU folding either.

Edit: There was a failed unit but no idea why it failed.

I have no idea what it means, but every GPU client I've used as far as I can remember says that after completing a unit.

Of course it's normal. The message comes up every time a GPU unit is completed.

I believe a 'guarded run' is a test run of the core , with known parameters . The general idea being to check that the core is running correctly for each unit...
