The PPD on the 6601 was about 1.4-1.5k, which is in line with what the card used to put out, but the PPD on the 111xx WUs have been 1.7/1.8k so far. I'm not going to be monitoring that card much, so I'd like to know if the newer client will be unstable/inconsistent in terms of production.
All GPU3 units in general do not run as well on older GPUs as the GPU2 units do. I don't know about low-end cards like your 8600GT since I have no experience with them, but the performance hit is consistent at least for everything equal to or better than a 9600GSO. There are no stability issues with GPU3.

I haven't folded in a few months. Seems like the PPD is lower than before with my GTS 250s. One is currently doing Project P10109 (494 credit) and PPD is 4690 ** EDIT NOW 5269 **. The other is doing Project P6602 (450 credit) and PPD is 4921 ** EDIT NOW 5717 ** .

Using 6.23 as suggested. PPD ok ?

EDIT - LOOKING BETTER NOW

That sounds normal. There are some units out there that give lower PPD than others.

Btw, my son's XFX GT240 does between 3000 and 4200 PPD. The good thing about folding with this card is the temps stay under 45 with fan at 60%. And it's quiet.
