Sad topic.. but yeah, without a good 500k/day boost, we're boned.
In 4 months, we'll be back in 30th place again though.

I just got back into -bigadv folding, I should be back to around 40k ppd in a week. Maybe another folding contest might be in order?

I am fluctuating from 60k-110k PPD depending on if I get a BIGADV or not(normal SMP WU net me 50k-60k PPD, 2684 nets me around 75k PPD, while 2685 and 2686 seem to net me 110k PPD), seems to be a massive shortage of them(bigadv) right now.

I think a new contest would be loads of fun!

A contest would be an excellent idea indeed! For example, in my situation, I started folding in a contest in the year's debut.... and look now where I am!

And looking at stats... we will be loosing 2 spots before we can regain one

I'd take those stats with a grain of salt, especially considering the fact that we've got a lot of folks coming back online now that the summer is done. That said, our team has always been more the tortoise than the hare, and I'm sure we'll come out ahead in the long run. :)

Agreed, give it time for the cold to get everywhere and folding will start again. Will try to add some more machines (got some nvidia cards at hand, that should make a huge difference for me, a tiny one for us).

I will be back folding when my loop will be gone and a air cooler will join the game :) Also, a new videocard should come in near my BD ( next month ) and I am looking for some nvidia baby to fold back again:)

I dont know about that. We are in 20th place for team PPD with team TPU right behind us and the top 18 teams for PPD are getting over 1 millionppd. Most other teams are gearing up for winter/ cold weather too, Were not the only ones that get snow. I dont think any team has ever passed us, I thought they might have passed us this summer but we fended them off some how, WTF guys.
Plus we have to stay 15-20+ million points ahead of them so they dont pass us when we go to NCIX for the Chimp race.

Got my 920+460 folding (460 kicks butt) and my 930 needs a little tweaking as it is not folding stable yet. I have a 470 on it folding and another 470 to go in sometime today. I have a 8800GT laying around that I can pop in too. Gotta run down to the thrift store and grab a $4 keyboard so I do not have to run my G15 up and downstairs.
