Dancing_Banana Getting cooler again...

Time to fire up F@H again. I'm guessing there's still no GPU3 for Ati? What should I run for a CPU client under Win7 x64? Do they have a decnet windows SMP client yet or would I still need a VMWare type setup?

I know the info's probably all in a thread somewhere, but it's hard reading a 32" TV from across the room.

1)Nothing new for ATI yet!

2) You don't need VMware no more! BigAdv is on windows now with much less memory usage

3) Welcome back to folding!

Luckily I didn't lose my passkey with all the HD meltdowns...

I'm guessing bigadv is a no-no with only a C2Q?

Yes. The client will not allow you to run -bigadv units if it detects that you have fewer than 8 threads.

Leave it at its default setting. Any options that I didn't specifically mention in the guide should be left alone.

I figured as much. Don't know what it does, don't mess with it.

Seems my side fan wasn't working... probably since I ripped that POS Seagate drive out...

You can just get your passkey again from Stanford, you just have to plug in your email address and it sends you your passkey again.
