is there a tell tale sign since in that program it just says grogpu2 under core
I have no idea since I use HFM.NET. However, I can tell you two ways to find the core version. Either use HFM.NET and enable the Core Version column which tells you what version each client is using, or examine your log file and look at the part where the current unit is starting to see what version of the core initializes. It will look like this:

fahcore_15.exe is a GPU core and has nothing to do with the SMP client.

The GPU client is for your video card. The SMP client is for your CPU. The two are completely separate. You mentioned fahcore_15.exe, which is for the GPU client. You do not need to update anything. If you are also running an SMP client, you will have fahcore_a3.exe running as well. If you do not, then you aren't actually running the SMP client in which case this thread does not apply to you altogether. If you aren't running the SMP client, you can set it up by following my guide here: http://www.hardwarecanucks.com/forum...up-method.html

I've been quite impressed with the SMP2 as far as stability is concerned. The only issues I've had at all can be directly tied to high OCs.

This core version was released over two months ago. I'm sure you're already using it.
