To find your PPD based on TPF and the points per unit, multiply the points per unit by 864 and then divide that by the TPF in seconds. For example, this unit is worth 610 points and I'm getting a TPF of 1:36, so my PPD is (864*610)/96 = 5490 PPD.

Well, that means my new 470 is doing 11,978 PPD on that same unit. But it's 90 degrees at load. I won't be doing much GPU folding until I get a waterblock for this card.

That's a bit disapointing IMO for these card. I was hopping a bit better maybe 14K. Future will tell us:)

My 470 temps were 85c, and I manually set the fan to 60% and now they are low 70s.

Hope that the card isn't in the same room you sleep in

TPF for my 9600GT @ 1800Mhz is 02:37 for P10626. PPD seems to have taken a slight hit. I'll decide whether I want to keep GPU3 beta or not by tomorrow.

I'll also try running at my gaming speeds on the 9600GT to see if the core and memory speeds has an effect on GPU3.

Edit: Interesting. There seems to be a drop 15 to 20s in TPF when folding with my gaming speeds. Granted there was a 50Mhz shader clock increase. I now have the clocks at 715/1800/1000.

I removed the GPU3 client. I'm getting much better PPD with GPU2, so for the time being I'm sticking with it.

That's true. No more squeeling. That can be interesting.
