My System Specs

Default Should my PPD be this low?

I know I should be running the SMP client on at least 2 VM's, but the PPD on my Q6600 is just ridiculous. It's clocked at 3.0ghz atm.

I'm in a rather similar situation, only 800PPD on an E6850.

That's way to low. Remove the old client and follow the sticky here. If you're a new folder, make sure you have a passkey setup to your own name. However since you're folding for the Chimp Challenge, don't forget to get the passkey from the captains! I think the passkey was posted on a thread by chriskwarren as well.

Your screenshot shows your Q6600 as running the Classic (Uniprocessor) client not SMP2. If you check your task manager it should show only one core being stressed.

If you are running it under windows you don't need the VM's any more, just one SMP2 install is best...
