My god what a race. I have been scrounging through all of my spare rooms for additional hardware. Hope to have another 20K PPD after I get this G41 board to play nice with a quad core. Scary stuff...

About 1 month ago I was told a 4890. Don't know why though.

Edit: That's what my husband told me to put. Once again, looks like he was wrong. Thanks Mr Zero !

Yeah, I've burned through a few of those. So I am guessing the HD 5870 and hook it up to a good processor since the ATI client seems to need more than the usual number of CPU cycles.

HD 5850 seems to get 5K - 6K PPD. So basically GTS 250 levels.

I'm basically trying to find the best PPD / Watts out of my left-over GPUs:

9800 GT
9600 GSO (384MB)
9600 GT
+
One or two of every HD 4000 series and HD 5000 series card.
