this thing is one of the best $25 i've ever spent. Having my one system doing bigadv and just browsing the internet & listening to music on my iMac, I am pulling 730W from the wall

O and that includes my Sans Digital TR8M-B hard drive enclosure.

To be honest, if you're not gaming, you should replace that old power hungry 88GTS with a low end power efficient graphics card, you could probably cut ~50-75+ watts off your rig.

Or, arguably, if you do still game, even replacing it with a GT240 would slash it the same wattage amount (give or take).

The card will likely be removed tomorrow and replaced w/ a HD5970, but that isn't going to help my consumption at all.

Is your rig on air? That is a great overclock.

I don't know anything about bigadv and smp but I know when I was running the basic folding at home site gpu client and cpu client on all 3 machines my bill in Ontario (yes we pay massive taxes and service charges) was up atleast $80+ a month. If it wasnt for that if it was only say $10-20 I would gladly still fold full time.
