Default weird 8800gt issue

had it for a while, started getting bsod's. temps are good, of course. put it in another puter, nada. put it back, bsod. put another gt in the one computer, no problem....hmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm mmmmmmmmmmm

Is it only me or you are having multiple issue today on your folding farm Maybe you should scan your card with ATI tools to see if there is any artifact that can affect folding. This could also come from your system memory but well it would be wierd to have the same issue using 2 system...Hope you'll find the problem soon

i know. basically the one card has issues in the one pc, moving cards around solves it. and the one pc has no issues with any other card, some error about paged pool.

no artifacts. in the other pc either. there it doesnt bsod. the card fro mthere is fine in here...very weird lol. basically same card. one bfg i think the other evga

ya that is weird, maybe the machine just doesn't like that card anymore... lol You could try clearing the cmos... maybe it's some weirdness with the bios...

update your drivers in that computer lately? Because an 8800 gt and 9800 gt..same thing, and those new nvidia drivers were doing wierd things to the 9800 GTs.
