I don't have "Suspend & Exit" since going to player 3.0. I use Suspend (wait until the HD is finished writing), then Exit. Works fine. I have previously lost WU's too with Power Off or accidentally "X"ing the VM and it hurts. I also lost WU's when I changed p/s as I suspect the power wasn't as clean/stable at that overclock. I have changed the p/s, 1st back to my ST60f and now to an XFX 650; both were fine and all is good now.

That is pretty interesting!!

Anyone have an idea why we would have different options? I'm using 1.1 of Linux Router's image if that means anything.

I'm wondering if there is a config issue that allows the option?

That's the best way to stop folding on VMware. Also the best Linux image folding that you can run imo.

Not lucky, I have 2 machine running bigadv, just simple observations about how they both crash. And yep the Nvidia drivers suck, can't overclock either one of the 200 series card I have without them crashing.

Ah, time will tell, if the problem continues, bad oc.I've probably lost about a million points to my old power hunger hard drive, today I have it's replacement.

Oh, one more thing, if you just close out vmware just like you close any other program (hit the x), the linuxrouter image automatically gives the command line "shutdown -h now" in the vmware player.

My network connection went bad last night as a bigadv was trying to upload. All my GPU clients were out of work too. Looked like the Linuxrouter fah client crashed or something after 8-9 tries to upload. I could not access the fah log files, and my cpu was at 0% usage. I was worried that I lost the bigadv.

I used the shutdown -h now command, restarted and it looks like the bigadv is uploaded from queue.

I'll have to see the points to be sure all went well, and how many points the delay cost me, but it looks like the shutdown command might have saved my WU.
