Yes. If the board has issues (and most do) you will need to spend $40 + shipping just to RMA it. Spend the extra $40 now and get a board that has solid warranty.

if anyone want to know

i just finish do some test with my setup,

setup
msi p55-dg65
i7 860 a 3.8
gskill trident at 1600 8-8-8-21

i try with 4x2gb my bigadv give me 34min 14sec
with 3x2gb(one stick removed but same cpu oc and ram sething) bigadv give me 34min 15sec

so if you are on a budjet(i7 860 can still be fond form retail edge for cheap), take the 860 and 6gb of ram

Oooh thanks for the test phil, solves my question about folding with 3 sticks, out of interest, are the 2 sticks of ram in dual channel while the 3rd is in single or are they all in single channel mode and does running it like that affect gaming performance?
Also, I think the retail edge thing is over now so instead of an 860, x3440 would be the best and cheapest way to go for folding now with p55

@crossfire: dont try any gaming, but don't think it affect lot

@mark: 1sec lost can be due to something else too, i have lot of program on my computer since it's my everyday use, not a folding dedicated
