Default How much power needed ???
4x GTS 250s (stock), 955 BE (stock), 1x 640gb

How much power would be ideal for 24/7 use of F@H and Boinc ?

regardless, yes 850 watter will be good,corsair or so of course. just watch the amps :)

I ran my 2 9800GTX+'s using a 500 watt Antec without any issues. That was pushing it though. I'd go with an 850 to be on the safe side. I think a GT250 draws around 120 watts.

All 4x are EVGA GTS 250s 512mb. I'm assuming a 512mb card would take less power than a 1gb one.

So I have Corsair HX850W and Seasonic M12D 850W. Both excellent power supplies. I thought to use with this build (4x GTS 250s, 955BE, 640GB, dvd drive) maybe Corsair since it has a bigger fan and would stay cool better.

Other build will only have 1x Gigabyte GTX 260 Superclocked. So which PS for 4x GTS 250s? Thanks.

850 will be fine. I'm running 3 9800GTXes right now on 750w, not the plus version so it uses more power and it ran fine. I also had an 8800GT in there, and that was fine.

Either one would be more than enough, since they are both top of the line...flip a coin.

I like my HX850, I have 3x 250's and an i7 860 @3.47 and it's nice and quiet...
