Heh... it would have been more fun to show the before/after images of the rig running, and then to make up some kind of story about how I managed to get 8K more out of my GSOs..... ;)

Damn, that's pretty sweet PPD. I'll keep my fingers crossed that I'll be able to pull off an average of 5.5K and be very happy with that if it happens.

edit: A closer look at your #s when compared to what I was seeing with my GSOs has them pretty well double.....

They make great Folding cards, quiet, low power consumption, relatively cheap and they OC really well as long as there is good airflow over them.

I like Folding rigs that can get decent ppd on both the gpu's and the cpu, you never know what Stanford is going to throw at you next...

Heh..... wasn't all that hard to swap the GSOs for the GTs. Removed all 4 GSOs, put each GT in individually and reboot to allow it to pick up the driver, slap a monitor connection to each card to allow them to be set to "extend desktop", disconnect all but the primary display, and then hook up the secondary display to the primary card so that I could set up clone for my remote desktop, start the GPU clients from where they left off, et Voila!!!!!! We're back up and running with some decent points in spite of the 3 freaking 10101 WUs that are currently running!!!!!!! :)

That's with a quick and dirty bump of 50 to the core with shaders synced. I'll let that run for 24 hours to ensure it's good to go and then do another slight bump.

You could probably hit somewhere from 1782-1836 on the shaders with all of those cards.

Yeah, I'll be working on the bumping the shaders over the next week or so. I'm a slow-and-steady kinda OC'er.... I like to fully verify stability on the way up rather than bumping high and lowering down to a stable OC.

I think most of the "old School" overclockers go this route, I know I do.

I agree whats the point of going with used cards when the price is so close to on new. Do you have it setup in your Tech station?
