Ended up going with these EVGA ones.........

http://ncix.com/products/index.php?s...nufacture=eVGA

Really didn't want to chance pulling that much current through the board without an aux plug. Looking at them, they're remarkably similar to the 9600GSO cards I'm currently running. The only obvious difference is the double width backplate.

With any luck I'll see somewhere between 8 - 10K more over the 9600GSO cards. That should push me over the 30K mark and back up the top 20 list. (Won't get me into the top 10 though.... I'll have to check out my young lad's CPU and 4850 for a little extra boost.... ;) ).

Why does it make a difference that he bought new instead of used?
