My System Specs

Default is there a special way to asetup my GPU for folding?

I finally installed my bfg285GTX and want to start folding ( again) but I am not sure how to set up so that the GPU is doing the work.

All you need to do for a Single GPU is go to stanfords F@H website and download the highperformance GPU Client for it. Then run the installer and configure it for your name and team 54196. Voila! Folding on GPU!.

Go with the Console Client. System tray is buggy and the viewer will crash an overclocked GPU.

XP Console Client

Vista/Win7 Console Client

The viewer is buggy, but aside from that there is no disadvantage to using the tray client. There are advantages to using the tray client as well, such as being able to pause GPU folding easily through the tray icon, view the log file through the tray icon, and reconfigure the client easily through a dialog box instead of going through the command prompt.
