they must have a way to figure if by exemple ( and it's only an exemple) 10 PCs with e7500 with 2 gtx 260 in each will perform less or more than 2 PCs with a I 720 and 4 gtx 260 .... I know already the power usage for all those parts . So i want to figure what to buy for give me the # of points I want with the budget I want and for the ammount of power usage I want.
best ppd/kwh i think would be from what i mentioned earlier. a stock 8800gt burns some 100 watts at full load. if you look here The Truth About Graphics Power Requirements V2 - Graphic Hardware - Forums - www.atomicmpc.com.au it says less(80) but i say 100. now oc'ed itll eat maybe another 25 more(you oc shaders) so lets say 4x125=600 watts just for gpus. add another cpu and the mobo.a good 850 watter or 950 watter psu will do well. vs buying expensive i7 cpu and mobo and ddr3 ram..

Most of the charts and data that are out there are inaccurate, so there's really nothing out there that fits what you're looking for. You'll just have to do some research on your own.

dangtx now you start to talk.....

Zero82z , yes but I can see from this chart you can expect something from 3000 to near 6000.. for a 8800 gt as exemple and .I will remove the 8000 ppd one .

wait what?

it looks like you get different ppd varying on fah core and drivers and whatnot. my 1700 shader clocked 8800gt's were pulling 6.2k on the 353 pointers, now my current 1800 shader clocked card does only about 5.5 at most.
