How come someone who lives in Montreal needs to open his french dictionnary to read things in french, tisk tisk tisk.

That's for sure, I could have never gotten any close to you if it weren't for you. My CPU yields something near 5500 PPD if I fold with it alone. If I fold with it with my GPU, it goes down into the abyss, something like 2000 PPD I believe (which reminds me, I was supposed to check a change I made to my GPU which did not work, which was supposed to lower the CPU usage). And the the GPU gets me 3000-3600 PPD depending on the WU.

I am quite surprised I have managed to keep up with u for a bit considering your raw folding power.

like i say before, im not folding 24/7, my computer is in my bedroom and i can't sleep over 22c ... that why that why you can still folow me in point

on the other hand, with my 4870(traded for the 8800) and ph2 955 at 3.6 my score was around 2400ppd on the gpu and 4000ppd on the cpu, are you using vmrare? if yes, try 1 player 4core, do about 1.3 on cpu ppd on my side, for the gpu priority, i was using the gpu2 system tray client without any problem on my side

I am using VMware, 1 player with 4 cores.

Not sure what you mean about 1.3 on GPU priority.

And btw, my computer is in my room too, haven't started the heater yet, but since I stopped folding with my GPU, my computer isn't much of a heater, its only drawing 189W.

d'oh i sprikken doich..err...french but its for the other people who may not be french speakers :)

the 8800/9800 properly clocked will do 5+k ppd. heck bring shaders above 1700 and core too and you will be blessed with 6k or better :) watch the temps tough!

if you buy them used, 60$ for a regular 8800gt or 70 with a good cooler on it dont spend more.
