My System Specs

Default server reports digital signature does not match

What the hell does this mean, i am getting this with my latest completed big WU and i haven't a clue what it means or how to resolve it... (i have the passkey properly set up for it). If i can't figure this out/fix it may have to drop down to regular wu rather then big or just say screw it to the how cpu folding.

I read somewhere qfix may fix the problem however i can't seem to figure out how to run it on the vmware linux...

I swear the help guys on the F@H forums are useless, trying to say my OC that has been stable and completed big WUs are not stable when i just want to know what the hell server reports digital signature does not match and if/how to use qfix (since i've heard that fixes it because its the WU who screwed itself up from standford and its not on my end)

I've had that error a couple times.
The last time I was running stock so OC wasn't the problem.
I didn't really know what to do so I just deleted my work folder and queue and got a new WU.

Have since found a few threads which may help, but haven't had the problem again... yet...

[How to] Submit partial result with qfix(SMP clients) - Bjorn3d.com Forums

From fahwiki.net
Code:
Server reports digital signature does not match

Some of the newer servers don't seem to like the older versions of the client.
Upgrade to the latest client. In addition to this, a corrupted queue.dat file
can cause this error to be reported.
Running qfix may help resolve this issue.
If you are running the latest client, and qfix does not rectify the issue,
report the error on the folding-community forums and delete the WU,

Yeah the problem is i haven't a clue how to run or find qfix on the vmware notfred (or whatever distro of linux i am running to be able to do big wu's) since those links only ever talk about the smp windows version. Also deleting a big wu isn't really a great solution as it usually takes about 2.4 days to complete and it if errors or has weird as problems like that i am out thousands of points not to mention the bonus points too

Edit: Could my gtx-260s set to high priority be starving my vmware of cycles even though it is set to normal.
