My stats at Stanford show 13 clients. ( 8 in-house , 5 borgs)

The rig on the bottom of the rack is AGP1...

P4 dualcore ,agp ATI 3850...

I intend to move as much of my hardware as I can into the garage.It's always cold in there , I can't think of a better fix than folding rigs.....

The borgs are 3x cpu clients and 2x ps3 clients.......all parttime.

he's heating the next door garages too... and across the street :P

nice..is it wort it to keep alive anything more than a c2d or newer amd folding? electricity/heat wise?

i say a cheap cpu and a dual pci-e or better board and fill her up with as many cards as you can...

Well, that a personal thing, you know. What's worth it to one guy might not be for the next, so on, and of course the hand God may have dealt some people may very well be a factor, and lets not forget ones' ability to pay for it all.
God hasn't been all that kind to me but this is one old turd that isn't going to just roll over dead for anyone's convenience, either. I'm very fortunate in ability to pay for it all and I enjoy doing it for human kind, so I press on with
everything I can muster, given my new wifey's restrictions on the impact on my home's decor, of course.

Just posted these elsewhere, but figured I'd drop them into the dedicated thread....

Just starting up with these so the #s aren't quite where I'd like them yet, but it seems to be stable.

Poor man's quad GPU folding, with "custom" cooling in the second shot. The story behind these is that my 280 GTX bit the bullet over the weekend and 4 of these cost me around the same (a little less actually) as it would have cost to replace it with a 275 GTX while promising 12 - 15K PPD vice the 9K PPD that a 275 would have put out.

On the smp side, I run 2 cores FAH, and then offer a little 1 core lovin' for Rossetta which pegs 3 cores at 100%, but leaves the fourth core free for the gpu clients. Currently having some problems getting the smp core dl'd so it's not running, and I've got Rosetta idle until I'm done my GPU tweaking/stability testing done.

I've also got a 275GTX running in my main rig, and have a 4850 in my son's rig, but getting the client to run on an ATI card was way too much like work the last time I tried so it's idle until I get enough patience to give it a second try.
