4 PCie slots with the optimal dual-slot layout - only that has it aside from the likes of the P6T6/P6T7 or the Classified 200, which are $400 mobos. Also, in terms of $/PCIe, it's one of the cheapest folding mobos you can get brand new right now.

L3 is not as relevant as you might think for folding (i.e., not at all).

I'll get to see what an Athlon II x4 620 can do soon...
Just need a PSU, HDD, and DVD drive.

so basically ditch the x4 and go x2? problem is e5300 are way cheaper and easier to oc and the mobos cost less(g41) but those are only 1 pci-e

edit : looking at reviews its not bad and it seems it beats the q6600 in most apps....not too bad....

save 40$ on cpu, hmm..can get a better mobo :D

looking around some more i think ill go with this :

NCIX.com - Buy Gigabyte MA790X-UD4P ATX AM3 AMD790X DDR2 CrossFireX 2PCI-E 2PCI SATA2 Sound GBLAN Motherboard - GA-MA790X-UD4P In Canada.

and thanks to dude ill go with the 620 as well. was looking at the version with integrated video but that could impede overclocking i think.

anyone thinks otherwise?

Good board choice, I've used one of those before in a build I did.
Grab an 810 from Infonec, its like 40 more bucks and worth it IMO.
I get on 4SMP cores 3800ppd :)

wrong section????

anyways that board sucks for tweaking/overclocking. its one of those you pay for what you get for.

good choice for some budget folding.

if your gonna use that as main system + folding i suggest you take a look at the MSI 790FX for $170
