only problem with the 9800s at my school is that I tried to run the GPU client on one of them and the cooling fan sounded like it was trying to take off.

This guy is also running a beta version of the GPU3 client that Vijay discussed in a recent blog post of his. I suspect that accounts for a lot of his production as well, since it is supposed to be much more efficient than the current GPU2 client.

I think awesome is not the word you are looking for. The word you are looking for is "LEGENDARY"

I think I can clear this up, that school is "awesome" with its sweet computers, now that would be "legendary" if they all had GT300 series running the GPU3 client 24/7 minus whatever the students need to do to learn.

Crusty here, n00b member, dan's bud, and folder. How ya gonna watch what the card is doing except through F@HMon?
I mean, that's good enouch cuz you can see and get at all the files even on a different machine, but it isn't exactly convenient that way.

Indeed this is amazing. But wait till we see how F@H is on ATI when the new GPU3 client comes out.

The only way you can monitor a GPU client properly is by either looking at the log file or using a third-party monitoring app like HFM.NET, FahMon, FahSpy, etc.
