My System Specs

Default SMP client won't start

Okay I'm stumped...

When I click my shortcut (target: C:\Program Files (x86)\Folding@Home Windows SMP Client V1.01\Folding@home-Win32-x86.exe" -smp -mpich) the client seems to just flash for a milisecond then close again...

It's been a while since I had it working, so I tried today that's what it did... so I uninstalled it, downloaded the fresh installer and tried again... ran the installer, then install.bat... typed my password in and it gives me the if you see this twice mpi is working

So then I go to click my shortcut to the application.. and it just doesn't run..

So... why? Am I missing a tag? I know this is just something stupid... I hate this client lol

64 bit BTW (mpich)

Any ideas?

They still haven't updated the installer to include the new 6.24 binary yet, get it here http://www.stanford.edu/~kasson/fold...-Win32-x86.exe.

Mentioned here; Updated Win SMP Client - Old One Expires July 04 2009
