have a couple of questions about how folding works

I have very very basic knowledge on folding and how it works. I am on Shaw cable and they have a download upload limit and I myself download and upload quite allot, mostly Linux distros for fooling around with and TV episodes what I want to know is if folding will count as a downloads and uploads towards my limits and if so how much of a download upload limits would that be. I was thinking of building a poor mans folding machine from parts I have laying around and run it 24/7 off of my router but like I have said the main thing that is stopping me is things like, download upload percentages ,how much would the bandwidth is used and would it be noticeable while online gaming or my other internet activities?

I'm on shaw and I don't notice. It uses a bit of bandwidth but probably not all that much. I haven't paid attention.

Could sell them to me and I'll make them fold if you're worried but still want to help the team.... :thumb:

I would say that you wont notice whatsoever. The download and uploads are very small, when I play a game online, I never notice a ping difference if my f@H is on or not. The bandwith is very minimal.
