I would fold at stock for a day or two, just to get a feel for how many PPD your card gets, temps while folding, etc. We also need to know if your rig is 'folding stable'. Folding is ver stressful on a system, so establishing a base 'stability' is important. Then you can look at OCing those shaders.

I use Evga precision to adjust my GPU fans. My target temps are 75C and lower. Right now I'm at about 72C with the fans on my GTX's at 80%.

I only ask because running the default GPU folding i'm at about 65C at default settings for the card as well

I just downloaded it, installed it, and saw that with the temp of 65 the fan was on auto at 40%. I put it to 80% and it was rather loud, maybe i'll play with it till i get a volume db that i like

You have an Evga card so the precision tool hertz mentioned is good if the temps are too high for your liking. I run my fans at 80% using it.

Using the EVGA precision tool with the fan at 60% temperatures are floating down around 55C with otherwise stock settings for the GPU and GPU folding. I take it its not that hard to OC this GPU up a bit more to benefit in games and folding as well

The 1888s means it gives you 1888 credit, remember i'm new to this and trying to understand as much as a i can

Be careful, the temps can swing depending which WU is being folded. The 511s and the 1888s are notorious for high temps.

My advice is to wait a couple of days, and pay close attention to the temps on the 511s (it is customary around here to place a "" in front of the 511, as we hate them so much. Long-time HWC folder LCB001 started this tradition. I rather think the 511s are an opportunity to really test your rig. That way, the 511s are a somewhat welcome sight. Otherwise, how else would you be able to use the smiley without the 511s hanging around. We would be sitting around, thinking like, 'How can I use the smiley.' 'I can't think of one way to use the thing'. But thanks to the 511s, we have ample opportunity to use the smiley.)

Go through a few 511s first, then try some OCing.
