My reasoning was : 2 9600GSOs @ $69 do 6,000ppd's - my $199 GTX 260 (192sp) does ~5,800/6,500ppds...

Should of specified 192sp GTX 260

EDIT: Dude, your GTX260 does 8,400ppds?! A highly overclocked 216sp model I asume..! What's your shader overclock?

EDIT Again: Just looked at your sig... I should try upping my GTX 260's shader clock from 1,500 to 1,600mhz and check if its stable (once I get my rig back together)...

One issue you might run into that is a lot of us dont have sli boards. I hear you can fold with two nvidia cards on a non-sli board but im not sure how to go around aboot that.

For what you get PPD wise, its awsome.
Most of the time I am sitting at 5400-6800ppd depending on the WU being crunched.
And that is at stock shaders.
I've seen so far people get 2014mHz on the shaders stable, so that gives you more headroom to squeeze out a little extra PPD.

I love this Card,
