My System Specs

Dashock I disagee. I've tested and retested this and with out a shadow of a doubt I'm positive that core and mem do effect overall ppd. Two months ago when this discussion was underway we were noticing equal or somewhat higher ppd when core and mem were lowered to facilitate even higher shader overclocks but since then we've gone through 2 core updates, 3 Nvidia driver updates, and many new projects and this is no longer the case. Now if core and mem are bottomed out to get higher shader overclocks my ppd falls ~800ppd. I don't disagree that shaders are the most important of the three by a huge margin but if you really want to get the absolute best ppd out of your Nvidia card you can't ignore the core and mem. I'll post some screenshots later when I have compiled enough samples showing exact project number comparisons using Nvidias latest WHQL drivers.

You may want to edit your OP / Excel file, and add the 472pt WU.

Updated

Thanks guys.

Hmm, i was just wondering, my 8800gt bios clock is at 625mhz 900mhz 1500mhz
and manufacturer site stats that the shader should run at 1600mhz .

I have a favor to ask of you dashock. Can you post a GPUZ screeny? Since we have the same version G92, Thanks

Still trying to figure out how to post Excel on forums

I have mixed the gts250 and the 8800 gt and it killed the ppd on my 8800gt. These results for the 8800gt are not really accurate, but will give you an idea of what you'll get mixing with another series...

It still says that you're doing your last WU until it loads to 1% of the new one... Notice it says downloaded 3 min ago, for those 1888pt WU, will take a bit longer for it to complete a step.
