Question Folding at home questions

Hey guys,

I didn't know where the proper place was to ask but thought this topic as very relevant.

Is there a way for one team to join another team??? Cause I have a World Community Grid team called 1337-Processing... also, is folding at home also available on the World Community Grid as well???

also, what are the tags for, the ones that HWC is offering???

Thankx for your help guys...

WCG and Stanford are not compatible software-wise, thus a "team" cannot join another. But every other Team member can download the FAH client and start Folding for 54196, or if they wish to stay with WCG use Rosetta@Home instead - we have a Team too.

It's just that Maple leaf with the DNA strands encompassing it that signifies that you fold for HWC. It's basically just forum bling and when HWC has other contests you'll get one extra entry into sweepstake draws. I think it looks great and really whomever designed it should be commended. Welcome to the team slisgrinder.

Teams can merge if all members change their software settings from one team name to the new team name.

I think he meant that merging a whole team, so that there'd only be one big team with a huge amount of points instead of one F@H team and one WCG team.

No you can't unless there is something I'm not aware of.
